‘The Song Called Love’ by Dipima Buragohain

Every time I see those eyes stare,

I know the words of my heart.

It’s like music and lyrics,

Bright sunrise and green meadows,

Raindrops and two coffee cups,

Stars and a sleepless night,

Silence and a sea of thoughts,

And there goes the story of us

Painting the canvas of life.

Every time I see those eyes stare,

I find mine staring back at those

And whispering with a smile

That love is a beautiful song.
